Dear COGdesign community,
You may have heard the sad news that Gina Foglia died unexpectedly on September 21st. She suffered a terrible fall a few days before and never regained consciousness. Gina served as Executive Director of COG from 2014 to 2015 and was a fierce advocate for the environment. Master gardener, landscape architect, fiber artist and splendid cook, Gina was a devoted friend, teacher and advocate for urban green space. She was a force for positive change in the world, often the kind of change that takes many years to bear fruit.
Per her wishes, Gina received a natural burial in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge on September 25th. Our thoughts are with her family. She will be missed.
