You can find out what happened at the WILPF International Congress!
This is your reminder about this special session on Thursday, August 18. We’ll offer multiple perspectives on the first ever virtual International WILPF Congress. Join the WILPF US Delegation and Americas Representative at this event, substituting for the August One WILPF Call (a week later than usual).

Hear the report-back on the 2022 International Congress, including the presentations, the WILPF Resolutions, the significant changes to the International Constitution and By-Laws, and the International Board elections results. We also welcomed ten new national sections to WILPF – from Argentina to Sudan!

Register here for this August 18 event, at:
5:30 PDT / 6:30 MDT / 7:30 CDT / 8:30 EDT

This event, features the U.S. Section Delegation to the 33rd International WILPF Congress:

  • Darien De Lu (Sacramento, CA), Delegate
  • Mary Harrison-Harrison (Des Moines, IA), Delegate
  • Barbara L Nielsen (San Francisco, CA), Delegate
  • Dee Murphy (At-Large, MN), Delegate
  • Odile Hugonot Haber (Detroit, MI), Alternate
  • Jane (Cricket) Doyle (Santa Cruz, CA), Alternate Delegate
  • Ellen Thomas (At-Large, NC), Alternate Delegate
  • Dianne Blais (At-Large, VA), Alternate Delegate
  • Plus special guest, Janet Slagter, newly elected Americas Region Representative on the International Board (IB). Also elected, from WILPF US to the IB, is Melissa Torres, now serving a second term as International Vice-President. Melissa might also join us on the 18th.

This Congress differed significantly from an in-person one; yet, like other WILPF gatherings, it still offered opportunities for personal interactions. And the Congress was international – with close to 200 members in attendance. Programming included workshops and presentations featuring members from different national “sections”, as well as plenary sessions to address business and structural issues.

Register now to join us Thursday, August 18, 2022, for a glimpse of the exciting and energizing experiences – and sleep deprivation! – of this world-wide virtual Congress.
