We’re kicking off our new partnership with Noodles & Company through the My Hot Lunchbox Program! 🎉 Be sure to place your orders on Tuesdays at noon so your student doesn’t miss out! This is a weekly lunch program offered on Wednesdays.

Our middle school students are headed to Eagle Fern Camp for a few days of fun, fellowship, and growing together! High school students will be joining them as mentors, encouraging and leading our middle schoolers throughout the retreat. 💛

It’s Retreat Recovery Day! After an awesome few days at camp, our middle and high school students get a well-earned day to rest and recharge! 🏕️💤

It is a joy to welcome our students and families to a new school year at Cornerstone Christian Academy! A new year brings fresh opportunities to learn, grow, build friendships, and strengthen our faith together. 

I am grateful for the partnership of our families, teachers, and staff as we encourage our students to grow in faith, learn with purpose, and lead with integrity. I am excited to see all that God has in store for our Cornerstone community this year!

🍜 WEDNESDAYS | Noodles & Company through My Hot Lunchbox

We’re excited to introduce our new partnership with My Hot Lunchbox, bringing Noodles & Company to Cornerstone every Wednesday!

My Hot Lunchbox allows families to order and pay for Wednesday lunches online. Restaurant partners prepare the meals, which are delivered to school individually packaged, labeled, and sorted for each student.

Ordering Opened: August 25

First Delivery: Next Wednesday, September 9

Check the app for the current options of the Noodles & Company entrées that will be available. Final menu selections and ordering will be available through your My Hot Lunchbox account. Gluten and dairy free options may be available!

1. Visit ordernow.myhotlunchbox.com/sign-up
2. Select “Create Account” under Customer.
3. Complete the required information.
4. Create a profile for each student you will be ordering for.
5. Visit the Lunch Calendar to view the Wednesday menu and place your order.



Please note: Noodles & Company orders must be placed, edited, or canceled by 12:00 PM (noon) on Tuesday, the day before delivery.

The Annual Middle School Retreat is coming up! To accommodate all that we want to do, we need lots of parental help.

Here's what we need: 

• Lots of prayer for safety and open hearts! 
• Student Permission & Payment: Please remember that consent forms and retreat money ($40 per student) are due by Friday, September 11th.

Just a reminder that all middle and high school students have NO SCHOOL on Friday, September 18th for Retreat Recovery Day!

We are excited for our first fun lunch at the school from Chick-fil-A on Friday, September 25th. Chick-fil-A has set up a special link for parents to order that will make it easier for everybody! You will order and pay online so it will not be taken out of your school lunch account. Please note, there is a limit of one order per transaction so if you have more than one student at Cornerstone you will need to place separate orders for each one. You will need to put in your child's name and grade per order. 

Don't miss out! All orders must be submitted by

Friday, September 18th, by 11:59 pm.

No onsite sales will be available the day of the event. 

🏃‍♂️🎉 Get Ready… It’s Jog-a-Thon Time! 🎉🏃‍♀️

Our Kindergarten through 8th grade students are lacing up their sneakers for one of the most exciting events of the year—the Annual Jog-a-Thon! Students will hit the course right here on campus, running laps with the support of family, friends, and our amazing community.

This year’s goal? Raising funds for resources that will directly benefit our students. Every lap counts—and so does every pledge!

💡 Why join in?

• It’s a fun-filled day of school spirit and teamwork

• Students can earn awesome prizes for the pledges they collect

• Most importantly, it’s a chance for families to rally together and make a difference in our kids’ education

Family Service Hours at CCA

Requirements

All families are required to serve 15 volunteer hours per semester at Cornerstone for a total of 30 hours for the school year. There are many ways to serve at CCA. Field trips, working in the classroom, campus events and other various projects, all go towards family service hours. 

Families will be charged $15 for any unserved hour per semester. 

Battle Ground Carpool

• Please have your card clearly displayed in your passenger side window
• No parking in the 8 designated BG Baptist parking spots
• No parking in the back of the church (south parking area) at any time
• Keep crosswalk area in front of church clear at all times
• Do not block parking lot entryways to exiting vehicles

We’re excited to kick off another year of our Hot Lunch Program! Not only do students get tasty lunch options, but every purchase helps support our Middle & High School Travel Fund—making trips more affordable and providing scholarships for students.



🍕 What’s Cooking?

• Pizza Tuesday – $2 per slice
• Noodles & Company - Every Wednesday (Online orders)
• Hot Dog Thursday (New grilled hot dogs!) – $3 (includes grilled hot dog, fruit, & chips)
• Chick-fil-A - Friday's once a month (Online orders)

📌 How It Works (Non-Online Orders)

• Elementary Students: Depending on the classroom, students will order either weekly or monthly. Please check with your child’s teacher for details. (Reminder: If your child is absent, please let the office know at least a day before to avoid charges.)
• Middle & High School Students: Order weekly in their homeroom! Pizza orders on Monday, Hot Dogs on Tuesday.

💳 Payment Made Easy

All lunches are billed through your Family Lunch Account. You can add funds by stopping by the office or giving us a quick call. We’ll send you a reminder if your balance starts to run low.

We’re looking for volunteers to lend a hand on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It’s a fun way to serve, connect, and earn Service Hours!
