 ADOPT-A-PARK PROGRAM
The St. Charles Parks and Recreation Department's Adopt-a-Park program is designed to provide an opportunity for individuals, groups and businesses to show pride in their community by assisting Park staff with routine maintenance, clean up and beautification of parks, open spaces and trails. Tasks performed range from removing litter and debris, controlling weeds, caring for plants, mulching around trees and planting areas, raking leaves, identifying hazards, reporting vandalism and planting approved vegetation. An adoption sign with the person/group's name will be posted at the site adopted. The sign will remain posted as long as the adopter remains an active volunteer.
