UCS MOTORIZED CHAIN ACTUATORS
FEATURING UP TO 90 DEGREE OPENING
The need to increase the opening angle of many currently manufactured vents is becoming very important for improving the flow of fresh air for natural ventilation and smoke and heat extraction for life safety. High narrow opening windows are becoming very popular and are implemented into the façade panel. This design requires the need for optimum operation to properly maximize the opening angle.
Ultraflex Control Systemsof Italy, a long time Bronze Craft Partner is introducing innovative actuators equipped with a flexible chain allowing a wide opening angle according to the window
size, up to 90 degrees. UCS has developed special versions of the NANO and QUASAR actuators to meet this need featuring:
NANO FLEX:
Flexible chain in stainless steel links available up to 400mm, 15.74"
Suitable for bottom and side hung windows for inward opening. Minimum distance from the hinges 170mm, 6.69".
Can be concealed into aluminium profile with minimal chain connector.
QUASAR BOW CHAIN:
Suitable for being installed on side hung windows opening inwards or outwards, increasing the opening angle up to 90°.
Brackets can be customised according to the window system.
Contact Bronze Craft for the installation limits (size and weight of window) and brackets for actuator installation (depending on type of profile). We can also advise on proper hinges to use for best performance. Hinges must be actually pivoting (butt hinges), not four-bar.
Bronze Craft's Engineers have over twenty years of experienceproviding the best choice of actuators and ancillaries to ensure successful long term solutions. Whether the requirement is a simple open/close switch operation, smoke evacuation, or an integrated Building Management System, Bronze Craft, a UCS Partner is your one stop shopping destination for your project.
UCS continues to improve and evolve allowing us to offer our customers superior window systems and performance. Contact Bronze Craft today for a complimentary consultation.
