PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Brightwood parents, it's almost time! Our 3rd
Brightwood Fun Run is about to kick-off next week on Wednesday, 9/11/19. If you're also interested in volunteering, please click
here. Help us get to our $40,000 goal and help our teachers and students win
prizes. Besides our top earner prizes, we've added other ways students can win incentives. First, students
who create a Star Student video and share it to their family and friends via social media, text, or email will and get a chance to win daily prizes such as Target/Amazon gift cards, Scholastic dollars (for next month’s Book Fair), etc.
Also, students who have more than two (2) sponsors and achieve 100% pledge collection by 9/27/2019 will be entered into a prize drawing. Prizes include Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo gift cards, Spotify gift card, Scholastic Book Fair dollars, Brightwood Bucks, Amazon/Target gift cards, movie tickets and more. Students who have at least five (5) sponsors and achieve 100% pledge collection by 9/27 will win Brightwood Bucks or Scholastic Book Fair dollars.
New this year, students who are
part of our top 50 student PPL earners
will be invited to a special
game truck party
to be scheduled at a later date. Lastly, the top three students who collect the most amount of pledges (based on amounts collected by 9/27/2019) will receive the following prizes:
# 1 rank student: Chromebook
# 2 rank student: Beats Solo³ Wireless Headphones
#
3 rank student: $100 Visa Gift Card
We have an ambitious goal but I know that together, we can achieve it. Let's all work together for our Brightwood kids.
Cheers,
Kristine Lau

No more clippings! Save your receipt!
"The Old Box Tops Clips"
Traditional Box Tops tops are being phased out of production, but you can still send any remaining unexpired clips to school.
"The New Box Tops Labels"
Eventually the Box Tops program will become digital-only. Participating brands are starting to change their packaging from traditional Box Tops clips to the new Box Tops label. If you see this label, use the new Box Tops app to scan your receipt within 14 days of purchase. Box Tops are still worth 10 cents for our school! The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to Brightwood's earnings online.
