AHA Registry Staff Available Early at the 2019 U.S. National Arabian Horse Show

AHA Registry Services is available to provide services at the 2019 US Nationals Horse Show beginning Wednesday, October 16, 2019 for your convenience! Registry Services will be available at the AHA booth located in the south entrance to the Exchange Center.

Members-bring your questions or your work to the show.

AHA is there to help you:

Register or transfer your horse
Submit your in-utero nominations to the Sweepstakes Program, Halter Futurities etc.
Purchase or renew your AHA membership - BE ENTERED TO WIN A FREE GIFT (while supplies last)
Look up pedigree, progeny and ownership information on DATASOURCE-get a FREE printout of the pedigree of a registered Arabian, Half-Arabian or Anglo-Arabian
View/print the accomplishment record of any registered Arabian, Half-Arabian or Anglo-Arabian
Get assistance with your pending transactions - bring your work to the show! We can also accept your Stallion Reports that are due by the end of December.
Choose from a wide variety of blank forms for registration and enrollment to our many programs

Hi everyone, my name is Katie Feighner and I work with the Registry Services team serving as the Special Services Representative and the Clubs and Membership Liaison.

I love working at the Arabian Horse Association because of all the interaction I receive with the wonderful members. In my free time, I enjoy riding my horses, hiking, and being outdoors.

1) If you had to be shipwrecked on a deserted island, but all your human needs—such as food and water—were taken care of, what two items would you want to have with you?

2) If you were an animal, what animal would you be?

An eagle.

3) What’s your favorite time waster?

I love reading a good book and baking!

4) What hobbies do you have outside of work?

I enjoy fly fishing on the Poudre River and skiing.

5) What’s your favorite thing about working at AHA?

Traveling to horse shows and other events.

Courtesy Program Renewals

Watch your email for the courtesy program renewals. Re-nominations will be sent to the current owner of record. It is the responsibility of the owner to renominate their horse(s) prior to the December 31, 2019 deadline. If an owner does not receive the renomination form, please call AHA to renew.

Take advantage of lower fees and postmark/transact your renewals on or before December 31, 2019. Renewals postmarked after December 31, 2019 may be subject to late fees or additional fees.

For Achievement Award and Amateur Achievement Award renewals, please submit your request prior to your first competition of 2019.

You can renew by submitting the completed form with payment to AHA via U.S. Mail, online or email (pdf format).

You may also contact the AHA office to renew over the phone.

Horses Wanted for the National Youth Judging Contest

We are looking for Halter, Country Pleasure, PB Show Hack, or Costume horses. Please contact Brenna Johnson if you have a horse available.

Horses would be needed in the morning on Friday, October 25 in the Pavilion. Each horse that is shown in the contest will be credited back for one stall fee.

An Arabian Show Dream

Twelve-year-old Kate Dobrotin and her trainer Anna Filleti of North Arabians had a unique idea to help accomplish her goals to attend shows with her Arabian horses.

Explaining where her love of Arabian horses started, Kate says, “About a year ago, I saw a Facebook advertisement that Anna had posted about horses for sale, and I convinced my mom to take me to check them out. We ended up purchasing our first two Arabians from North Arabians, and I have been riding them and Anna’s horses since. The special Arabian horses that are in my life are “Blaze” or GG Blaze N Afire that we purchased from the Glasener’s and “Lily” or Steel Cordilia that is owned by Anna’s mom.”
