Spring Homebuyer Grants and Programs

Spring is a great time to buy your first home!

There are multiple first-time homebuyer grants open in April and May, including First Front Door which opens May 19th! This $15,000 grant can be combined with Philly First Home for up to $25,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance!

First Front Door grants go quickly, so it's important that you complete your homebuyer education and are aware of the program requirements (including applicable lenders) before applying!

Other Programs for Philadelphia Homebuyers:

  • Turn the Key is a city program where eligible first-time homebuyers can receive up to $75,000 in mortgage buydown assistance on a newly constructed home built on vacant city land.

Turn the Key is hosting a Spring Open House this Saturday, March 21 at the PA Convention Center - sign up to learn more about the program!

On Saturday, March 7, AHCOPA partnered with Representative Heather Boyd to host a Homebuyer Fair in Delaware County.

Over 60 people turned out to learn about homebuying resources! We were happy to see all the vendors and families in attendance and glad that we could provide relevant information. We're looking forward to more outreach in Delaware County and connecting more people with the services they need!
