Tell Them You Want Community Nurse

Your Care. Your Choice. Choose Community Nurse.

Did you know that when you need home healthcare or hospice services, you have a choice in who provides your care?

If you have a preference, you need to speak up and ask for the agency you want. Otherwise, you may be referred to a provider chosen for you.

When your doctor, hospital, rehabilitation facility, or other healthcare provider recommends home health or hospice care, simply say:

“I want Community Nurse.”

For generations, families throughout the South Coast have trusted Community Nurse to provide compassionate, professional care where it matters most, at home.

Know your choice. Use your voice. Ask for Community Nurse.

August Staff Spotlight: Meet Vanessa!

This month, we’re shining our Staff Spotlight on Vanessa, our IT Coordinator!

Vanessa plays an essential role in keeping our team connected and our technology running smoothly. From providing computer and iPad training to new employees, to educating staff on system updates and troubleshooting technology issues, Vanessa is always there to help.

Her work is especially important to our clinical staff in the field, helping ensure they can securely access the information and medical records they need to provide timely, compassionate care wherever our patients call home.

Vanessa is a trusted resource for our entire team. She is responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to lend a hand.

Get to Know Vanessa:

What is one piece of technology advice you find yourself giving staff all the time?

“Restart it! It sounds simple, but you’d be surprised how many issues are fixed by a quick restart.”

What do you enjoy most about working at Community Nurse?

“I enjoy knowing that the work I do behind the scenes helps our clinicians provide great care to patients. Even though I’m in IT, I feel connected to our mission of caring for people at home.”

Thank you, Vanessa, for everything you do behind the scenes to support our staff and the care we provide!
