Crafting Club

Reminder: iPad Grant Application now Available
Digital Sparks has provided Autism Society Greater Cincinnati two iPads to help non-verbal individuals with autism spectrum disorder. The purpose of this grant is to help nonverbal children or adults with an autism spectrum disorder who are in need of an iPad for communication or educational support. The iPads will include the TouchChat app, a full-featured communication solution for individuals who have difficulty using their natural voice. To find out more and apply, email info@autismcincy.org. Applications will be accepted until August 20.  
Black and Brown Families Support Group
As a reminder, there is a new registration link for our Black and Brown Families Support Group.

The Support Group for Black and Brown Families is co-hosted by the ASGC, along with Autism and WE. The group supports, educates, and advocates for a unique segment of the population that are often misunderstood, underrepresented, and often forgotten. Join us on Wednesdays from 7:30 – 9 p.m. on Zoom.
PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT
Teen Time
Teen Time Hangouts are designed to give teens ages 13-17 with autism opportunities to interact with peers, play games, practice social skills, build friendships, and have FUN, while maintaining social distancing rules. Teen Time Hangouts are every Friday on Zoom from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

If your teen plans to participate, please sign them up, at https://tinyurl.com/TeenHangout. After you complete registration, you'll be emailed the Zoom link and passcode for your teen to join the group.
