The Coming Soon Listing Status is designed to help generate early exposure while you prepare a property for showings, but we know it can raise questions. To help, the PrimeMLS team has put together a new Helpdesk FAQ covering Coming Soon, Listing Visibility Type, and Saved Searches. Coming Soon Listing Status FAQs

The PrimeMLS Rules Section 2.10 has been revised to clarify that listings in the Active and Active Under Contract statuses must be available for showings.

With the implementation of Coming Soon, there has been confusion related to this rule. If a property is not available for showings upon entry into the MLS, it must be entered as a Coming Soon listing, which cannot be shown. Coming Soon listings must include a date, not more than 10 calendar days after the date of entry, at which time the listing will automatically transition to Active and showings are permitted. Coming Soon listings can also be manually updated prior to the Activation Date and upon that manual update to Active, the listing must be available for showings.

A Pending Tracker is launching on February 3, 2026. This new feature helps you quickly identify listings that may need a status update. This new widget on the Paragon Connect home page, and a daily pop-up in Paragon Pro, will display listings that have been in a Pending or Active Under Contract Status for five months or longer. It will also allow Brokers to view their Agents' listings that have remained under contract for more than five months.

This proactive reminder gives you an opportunity to review and update listings before a inquiry notice is sent by the Compliance team. In many cases, the listing may have already closed, was entered in multiple categories, or simply needs a status adjustment. If the listing is appropriately still under contract, no action is required.

This enhancement is designed to improve listing accuracy, reduce follow-up notices, and make it easier to manage your listings with confidence!
