The Low Impact Hydropower Institute has issued a final decision on the certification of the Bolton Falls Hydroelectric Project, LIHI #201. This project is located on the Winooski River in Vermont.
The preliminary decision was announced on April 19, 2024, starting the 30-day appeal window. That window closed on May 19, 2024, and no appeals were filed. Therefore, the decision to certify the project is now final. The new term for the project is January 26, 2024 through January 25, 2034.
