STAFF SPEAKING

Here is a note from the volunteer Administrative Assistant, Tara-Marie Kercher:

"I was brought in on a contract with WorkBC in order to gain current experience to complement my education and work history.

As administrative support to the Chamber team, I was given opportunities to perform a variety of tasks including making and answering phone calls, writing and compiling judging packages, doing research, and helping with preparation for the cosmic golf tournament.

I have loved my 7 weeks at the Chamber and wish that I could stay longer. Being with this welcoming and supportive team has been a confidence booster; now it is time to move on to the next opportunity. I am looking to find paid employment within the local business community where I can continue to grow my experience and hone my skills."
