Wellington, FL – The Annual Kids Lip Sync Contest is one of the most beloved events of the year—a high-energy, joy-filled evening where kids get to step into the spotlight, perform their favorite songs, and help raise critical funds for Danny & Ron’s Rescue.
This family-friendly event brings together the local equestrian community and dog lovers from all around, selling out every year with 400 attendees expected. It's an unforgettable night of music, laughter, and heart, all in support of giving rescue dogs a second chance at life.
Kim Kolloff, the visionary behind the event, launched it 17 years ago with a simple idea: to teach kids the importance of giving back. Since then, the Lip Sync has grown into an eagerly anticipated annual tradition, with all proceeds benefiting Danny & Ron’s Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to saving and caring for dogs in need.
Each year, the show features a new theme to keep things fresh and fun. In the past, we've welcomed incredible special guests like Gloria Gaynor and Lyle Lovett, adding star power to an already magical evening.
For 2026, on Sunday, February 15th, we’re rolling out the red carpet at Deeridge Farm with a brand-new theme: "The GRAMMYS!" This gives kids the exciting opportunity to choose from a wide variety of musical genres, pop, rock, country, R&B, and more—and bring their favorite award-worthy hits to life on stage.
But beyond the music and costumes, the true spirit of the Lip Sync Contest lies in its mission. Every cheer, every performance, and every dollar raised helps us continue rescuing dogs in need and finding them the loving forever homes they deserve. It’s talent with a purpose—and a night you won’t want to miss.
Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta founded the rescue after witnessing the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, and they’ve since rescued and rehomed 15,000 dogs. Every dollar raised supports the life-saving work of Danny & Ron’s Rescue, helping dogs in need find safe, loving homes.
