Find where to get the COVID-19 and flu vaccines

If you have insurance:

  • Ask your healthcare provider for the vaccine.
  • You can also get the vaccine at CVS or Walgreens or other retail pharmacies. Book online to make sure your store has the vaccine.

Protect yourself and others

COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. Millions of people in the United States have received COVID-19 vaccines under the most intense safety monitoring in U.S. history. The most recently updated COVID-19 vaccines offer protection against the latest variants of the virus.

Even though federal emergency funding for COVID-19 has ended, most Californians will still receive COVID-19 vaccines at no cost or low cost through their health insurance plans. If you don’t have insurance, or your plan doesn’t cover routine vaccinations, My Turn can help you find a location that offers vaccines at no cost or low cost.

Who should get the COVID-19 vaccine?

Everyone 6 months and older should get the 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine. This includes people who have received a COVID-19 vaccine before and people who have had COVID-19.

  • Children 6 months through 4 years who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 should complete a multi-dose initial series.
  • People with a weakened immune system may be eligible for additional doses.

You are most protected when you stay up to date on your COVID-19 vaccination.

Talk to your health care provider or local pharmacist if you have questions.
