A Reminder About Current Pledges, Digital Pledging, Gifts & Offerings

As we continue the 2nd quarter of our new fiscal year, we are aware that many of you continue to face financial challenges. We deeply appreciate the continuing support of so many members and friends. If you have questions or concerns about your current pledge, please contact our pledge secretary, Margos Stone (pledgesec@uucworcester.org) so that we can plan our forecasts accordingly.

For your convenience, we continue to invite you to use our online digital giving program Simplegive for such purposes. You can access this program in two ways. Either visit the Simplegive site directly HERE, and choose either the "General Donation" or "Pledges for FY2025 / July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025" option in the "Fund" drop-down menu, or by text-to-give by texting 508-231-5335 and following the instructions on the screen. You can also visit the www.uucworcester.org website and choose "donations" from the main menu at the top of the page.

Looking for Help

My mom and I are looking to hire willing and able people to help us unpack. It is a slightly dirty and labor intensive job but neither one of us are fully capable of doing it alone. We are willing to pay 1 person $50-65/hr for four hours of assistance. Or 2 people $25-35/hr for 2-4 hours whichever is needed.

We also need someone to come cut our grass (we have a lot of leaves, but prefer to leave them natural to protect the ecosystem -- we have a rake but it fits EJ who is under 5'), we have a lawnmower provided by our landlord so we don't know how well it works, so we can pay $75 flat plus the cost of gas for the machine.

Mom needs someone to come build her closet, it proved to be more complicated than the box instructions promised. We can pay $75-100 for that.
