It's Time to Lobby

LET'S get ready to LOBBY at the Statehouse on June 18, 10 AM - 2 PM! Our Working Groups have put together this Policy and Bill Priorities 2025 showing the bills we're lobbying for. Our Legislative Team will update us on the plans, and we'll fine tune the logistics for this exciting and FUN day together in person, raising our voices to speak out for what is important to us with our legislators. If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting with yours yet or in a while, this is the day to make that connection, and to make it count!

Our CHOICES and our VOICES make a difference and WE can change what we do AND what happens.

YES! We do record our meetings and they’re usually posted on our website within a few days here.

NO KINGS Protest

SATURDAY, JUNE 14 in BOSTON

March with us!

  • June 14th marks Donald Trump’s birthday—and this year, it also marks a dangerous display of authoritarian ambition: a taxpayer-funded military parade in Washington, D.C., costing tens of millions of dollars. Across the country, people are standing up to say: No Kings!

  • We are against tyranny, corruption, racism, hatred, lies, violence, and threats to our democracy.

  • We are for justice, free speech, the rule of law, immigrants’ rights, civil rights, healthcare, education, science, climate action, and a government that serves all the people—not just the powerful.

  • We believe democracy depends on all of us—standing together, speaking out, and showing up. Bring your friends, your signs, your voice, and your commitment to a country where no one is above the law—and where we the people are the ones who hold power.

  • No thrones. No tyrants. No silence. No kings!

Check out nokings.org for more information and an event near you. There are MANY events all over the Commonwealth and our country. If you're coming to the Boston event, ECA members will meet at The Embrace sculpture. And wherever you go, wear your ECA Mass green shirt!

Our plan

We'll be meeting with key legislators to advocate for our bills and policies related to natural solutions, funding climate action, decarbonizing buildings, transportation and energy, and curbing the use of plastics.

We'll also be huddling with our legislative allies to plot strategy for moving climate legislation this session and build relationships.

Don't miss this opportunity to make a difference, express solidarity with your fellow ECA Mass activists, and raise your spirits in these hard times.

ECA was at Brookline Spring Fest

When Brookline held its "Spring Into Action" Spring Fest on May 31, ECA Mass was there. Members Maiyim Baron, Dave Damm-Luhr, and Tina Grosowsky enjoyed hosting our ECA Mass table at the event, which drew hundreds of families. The kids enjoyed our craft activity - bees made out of toilet paper rolls - while we talked with the grownups, spreading the word about ECA and signing up new members. Did you hear the buzz about pollinators that day? These kids and their families did!
