The Core Virtue of the Month House Challenge
Virtue of the Month – Responsibility
During the month of December, we are focusing on acts of Responsibility - The ability to distinguish between right and wrong, and to be accountable for one’s behavior.
Teachers and staff will be on the lookout to reward students with special Virtue of the Month Virtue Tickets for exhibiting behavior aligned with this Core Virtue. Each Virtue of the Month Ticket earned counts towards 5 points for the students' House.
December House Service Challenge - Toy Drive - December 8th - 16th
Savannah Classical Academy is partnering with the Coastal Children's Advocacy Center by participating in the Big Savannah Toy Drive to benefit the Coastal Children's Advocacy Center and support their mission. The Mission of the Coastal Children's Advocacy Center unites public, private, and community resources to provide each child who has suffered abuse with justice, hope, and healing.
Starting December 8th through December 16th, earn points for your House by bringing in items for donation. All items donated must be new and remain in their packaging. The House who receives the most points through their donations will earn a holiday treat incentive on December 17th. INCENTIVE CLAUSE: To earn the incentive, there must be participation from the gradeband (PreK & Elementary, Middle School, High School) in the winning House.
