First Front Door is a $15,000 grant offered by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh. It can be combined with Philly First Home for up to $25,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance!

If you have already completed your homebuyer education and are ready to start looking for a house, talk to your counselor about applying for First Front Door.

First Front Door grants go quickly, so it's important that you are aware of the program requirements (including applicable lenders) before applying!

First Front Door opens every spring for a limited time. If you're not quite mortgage-ready, now is a great time to start preparing for next year! Take a First Time Homebuyer Workshop to get started.

Over the past year, AHCOPA served approximately 4,500 households, including educating more than 2,900 first-time homebuyers and supporting 276 households in successfully achieving homeownership.

We also assisted hundreds of homeowners in avoiding foreclosure and provided estate planning education to more than 1,000 households.
