THIS WEEK IN HOUSTON

September 3–7, 2025

Houston’s art season is officially back—with gallery openings, solo exhibitions, and artist talks popping off citywide. From the Menil and Montrose to Gallery Row and the Heights, there’s energy in every neighborhood. But heads-up: Friday and Saturday are stacked—map your corridor (Menil/Montrose, Gallery Row, East End, Midtown, Heights) and plan your hop to make sure you catch your favorites.

If my work through MUSED Houston has guided your weekly gallery crawl, supported your program, or elevated your work this year, please consider supporting my independent, hyper-local visual arts platform HERE. Your contributions keep the guide free, thoughtfully curated, and firmly rooted in Houston’s creative core—plus, supporters get the occasional invite to intimate art salons.

Scroll on, mark your must-sees, and make the most of these early fall days. And, remember, check out my website for even more.
