What a blessing and privilege to partner with so many families! Our growth is largely due to our parents telling others about their experience at our school. Thank you!
Some grade levels are FULL with waiting lists and a few others are very close to full. If you know of any friends or family considering ECS for next year, please have them contact Krista Decker, Director of Admissions.

In 2021/22, ECS will be offering 7th grade and 8th grade CHOIR on Tuesday and Thursday mornings during the Enrichment period. Currently, we offer Band to our 7th and 8th grade on Monday/Wednesday/Friday which will continue in the same format. With this new option for Choir, we hope to build our Choral program and continue to develop and engage our students in a quality well-rounded education. Students will receive a grade for this class and will be expected to maintain good standing with their core subjects. Students enrolled in band can also do choir since the days will not conflict; however, they will need to mindful of their commitment to time and academic status. If your son/daughter is interested in adding choir to their schedule next year, please fill out the CHOIR FORM stating your permission and intent. Deadline to sign-up is MAY 21.

We will also be expanding our WORSHIP TEAMS at our Cullen and Epworth Campuses. This year, our Cullen students were unable to provide the Worship Team in our monthly Chapels due to Covid. However, we are excited to not only provide this next year, but also develop our Worship Ministry at ECS. Special thanks to ECS parents and Worship Leaders Pastor Jason and Lynne Woolsey for leading this at our MS and HS campuses. If your son or daughter would like to sing or play an instrument (keys, guitar, bass, drumset, auxiliary percussion) on the WORSHIP TEAM next year, they are encouraged to sign-up and attend our WORSHIP TEAM CAMP during the week of August 9-13.

We are hosting the YOUTH CHOIR OUTREACH CAMP from July 19-24 open to any student grades 7-12 including non-ECS students too. We offered this camp 2 years ago and it was an AMAZING time to see God go before us. Students spent time learning contemporary Christian music while building relationships with about 50 fellow teens. Later in the week, they went into our community to learn about and serve local non-profits through both service and music. We are excited to be partnering with the Potters Wheel and Evansville Rescue Mission again. I can not emphasize enough how much we as parents get to equip our students in seeing the body of Christ at work in our community. Music is one of the vessels that God can use to open our eyes and see how we can be a part of His redemption story. Not only does it bring the hope and name of Jesus to our community but in our youth too. Deadline to REGISTER is June 30.

WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT COVID-19
It is important that all COVID-related situations continue to be reported to campus principals or campus health coordinators, even during virtual learning. Quarantine timelines can span anywhere from 7 to 24 days or more, so even when a family experiences COVID over a brief virtual school period or school break, student quarantines do not necessarily end when school resumes. Please contact campus principals or campus health coordinators to report any of the following: 1) Students experiencing COVID symptoms; 2) Household members experiencing COVID symptoms.
COVID SCREENING GUIDE FOR PARENTS - Every morning, parents should utilize this daily screening tool from the Indiana State Department of Health to determine whether or not to send your child to school.
COVID LINE FOR REPORTING - We have a dedicated phone line at ECS for reporting a positive COVID case in your family. If an ECS student or immediate family member receives a positive COVID test result, we're asking that you call the following number: 812-470-5423. That phone will be monitored by a rolling member of our administrative staff who will instruct you on next steps.
