Big Law Firms Disclose Data Breaches

Tech Insider on October 10, 2026



Law360 reported on October 9 that Holland & Knight and Squire Patton Boggs were both hit by cyberattacks that exposed sensitive information, according to disclosures filed that week. Holland & Knight notified 14 clients after a social-engineering attack. Reuters also reported on October 8 that Sheppard Mullin was sued in a class action days after it disclosed its own breach to state attorneys general. Read the full article
