Here at the ICC we are wrapping up our spring classes this week and getting ready for summer! During the break between sessions, we have a couple events and a design contest for you!

Summer class registration is open

Classes will run from July 10 to August 19. We are offering a new class called Miniatures Painting, and bringing back a few favorite classes too. Friday events include a potluck on July 21 and a summer dance on August 18. Events are free with membership, or $10 for non-members, but please RSVP.

Help us grow our gardens!

We are creating an outdoor area with tables, chairs and umbrellas for parents to relax and enjoy socializing at the Inclusive Community Center. The area will include raised garden beds where students will grow flowers and veggies for everyone to enjoy. In addition, the accessible gardening class has been hard at work and reserved a spot at the Community Garden in Northampton.

We still have $2,000 to go to reach our goal! Every gift is helpful and appreciated! For a gift of $1,000 you will receive the opportunity to have your family name inscribed on a permanent plaque in our accessible garden.

Upcoming Events

WonkAvengers tickets selling out quick

When: June 2 at 7 p.m. and June 3 at 2 p.m.

Where: Smith College, Northampton

What: Whole Children and Milestones, along with the Joyful Chorus, will host their theater show WonkAvengers in the Hallie Flanagan Theater at Smith College. Join us for this hilarious, wonderful show!

Portraits of Pathlight showing and reception

When: June 16 at 12:30 p.m.

Where: MA State House, Boston

What: This is Me: Portraits of Pathlight is a photography project that focuses the camera lens on people served by Pathlight. We partnered with renowned local photographers to shoot portraits that convey strength, beauty, complexity and personality.

The portraits will be on display on the 4th floor of the State House from June 12-16, with the reception on the last day. The display is open to the public!

T-shirt design contest now open

We're looking for your t-shirt design submissions! Draw a picture that shows what Whole Children and Milestones means to you. Once the top designs are chosen we'll have them made into t-shirts anyone can buy. The winners get their shirts for free!

The rules:

Draw a picture that shows what Whole Children and Milestones means to you.
Original art only! That means no video game, movie or comic characters, etc. even if you draw them.
Draw on paper, computer, tablet- whatever you like!
Enter as many designs as you want.
Bring your artwork to the ICC to submit (make sure your name is on the back) or enter online here.
