A gif of rotating headlines about voting in PA

We want to keep this short. We know that the headlines can be overwhelming—voting rights are under attack, and mail-in ballots, a vital means of participation for so many Pennsylvanians, are especially under fire. But at the Public Interest Law Center, we’ve been anticipating these challenges. Our team has been fighting tirelessly, preparing for these critical moments to protect your voice and your vote.

The stakes are high, and the fight is real. We’re taking action to ensure that every Pennsylvanian, no matter where they live, has their right to vote protected and respected. Take for example our recent victory in our Butler County case. Earlier this month the Pennsylvania Supreme Court upheld a ruling mandating that Butler County must count provisional ballots cast by eligible voters who had made technical mistakes when attempting to vote by mail. This decision affirms that all voters, including those who cast provisional ballots after making bureaucratic errors, should have their votes counted, safeguarding democratic participation in Pennsylvania. However, this matter of state law is now under challenge by the Republican National Committee (RNC), which is seeking to escalate the case to the U.S. Supreme Court.

When attempts are made to undermine our democracy, the Public Interest Law Center responds with unwavering determination, challenging unjust laws, supporting fair policies, and educating voters about their rights.

But we can’t do this alone. Your support is essential. By standing with us, you become part of the movement to safeguard voting rights in Pennsylvania. Your contribution will help fund the legal battles, outreach efforts, and advocacy that are crucial to ensuring our elections remain fair and accessible to all.

Please join us in this fight. With your donation, we can protect the power of every Pennsylvanian’s vote!
