Q3 applications for our Community Grant Program are now available for events occurring in August, September, and October. Deadline for submission is June 28th.​​​​​​​​

Organizations may apply for up to $5,000 to support public programs, events, initiatives, or services that demonstrate a measurable benefit to the community and foster community growth.

We are seeking ambitious, creative, organized, and opinionated community leaders to join the Commission of Special Service Area #33 – the improvement district of the Wicker Park Bucktown business corridors. SSA #33 plays a pivotal role in streetscaping, landscaping, sidewalk snow removal, marketing, public art, aesthetics, safety, and more.
If you own or rent a PIN-holding property in SSA #33 along the business corridors of Ashland, Damen, Division, Milwaukee, North, or Western and like the idea of spending local tax dollars on improvements and services that benefit the entire community, come joins us. Multiple slots on the Commission are open in 2022. If you think you have the passion and ideas to keep Wicker Park Bucktown thriving, it's time for us to hear from you.

We are all in agreement that the cornerstone of restoration in the community is Reinstating the Wicker Park CPD Team and need support from our Commanders, Alderman and City Leaders to Restore order and curb the massive spike in crime and violence.

VOLUNTEER - northwestern settlement
We are always looking for new volunteers! There are many ways to give your time to support Northwestern Settlement, both in person and at home. Due to Covid-19, we are asking that all food pantry volunteers be between the ages of 18-55 and able to lift 30lbs. To get more information about volunteering or be added to our system of volunteers, please email your interest to info@nush.org.

VOLUNTEER - THE NIGHT MINISTRY
Please note that some volunteer opportunities are temporarily suspended during the community response to COVID-19.
Individual direct service volunteers should be at least 21 years of age and willing to commit to volunteering at least twice a month.
The Night Ministry provides a day-long orientation and training to learn about our non-judgmental and affirmative services, an overview of our clients, and relationship-building skills.
