Since the mid-1990s, Gateway Medical Alliance has been developing hope around the world through the generosity of donors, the dedication of volunteers, and the commitment of international partners. Together, we have shipped more than 197 containers of essential medical supplies and equipment to over 20 countries, bringing life-changing resources to communities where access to healthcare is limited.
In 2026, that impact continues to grow. We have successfully shipped thirteen containers, delivering medical resources to our partners in Gambia, Ukraine, Haiti, Cambodia, and Uganda. Additional medical supplies have reached partnering organizations serving communities in Zimbabwe, Sudan, Lebanon, Honduras, Bangladesh, and Somalia.
Behind every shipment is a tremendous amount of teamwork and dedication. This year, our volunteers have built 272 pallets, sorted and packed 12,085 boxes, and carefully prepared 1,086 walkers, 293 wheelchairs, 667 crutches, and countless other medical supplies and equipment. These numbers represent much more than supplies. For someone who cannot walk, a wheelchair can mean independence. For a hospital without adequate equipment, these resources can mean better care and renewed hope for an entire community.
