Yes, it’s that time of year again — the first Thursday in May — the National Day of Prayer — that day when the government very unconstitutionally tells everybody in America that they should pray — that day taken over by dominionist Christians to pray over the “7 Mountains”
of culture that they seek to control — the Church.
Education, the Media, the Government, Business,
THE MILITARY, and the Family (according to the National Day of Prayer Task Force's version).
While the day’s traditional main gala event in Washington, D.C., with its DoD regulation-violating military participation, that MRFF fought against in past years when Focus on the Family’s Shirley Dobson ran the show no longer exists, National Day of Prayer events are still taking place on military bases and at VA facilities across the country.
Many of these military government-told-us-to-pray-today events have a dominionist or Christian nationalist bent that has no place in our military and that MRFF continues to fight not just on the first Thursday in May but every day of the year.
