Dear Spiritual Leader,
I am writing to ask your assistance in correcting an injustice that has impacted justice for everyone in Alameda County.
Will you share information with your congregation and network about The Honorable Pamela Price, a Champion, who helped shape law of the land protecting women in Alexander vs Yale (1977) and won at the Supreme Court Level. The media is culpable for omitting accurate information, and for previously and currently creating and/or promoting lies about the Price Administration and the campaign.
Looking at Judeo-Christian sacred writings, we all know about “Trumped Up Charges.” The crowd chose Barabbas over Jesus. Jesus was crucified because of lies. He died but Thanks be to God He Rose again.
Using politics and systems to pervert justice is nothing new. In I Kings 21, Jezebel used the court system and false documents (“Trumped Up Charges”) to set up Naboth to be killed in order to take his ancestral land and give the land to her husband, Ahab. Because God loves justice (Isaiah 61:8), dogs licked Ahab’s blood as he died in battle hidden as he tried to run from God’s judgement. And with similar judgement, could we say of Jezebel, “there was not hide nor hair left of her” as dogs devoured her body, leaving just as prophesied, ‘her skull, her feet and her hands.’
The Recall of Pamela Price is an example of rigging systems to pervert justice. Fueled by billionaire Philip Dreyfus, who spent $2 million on the recall, 14 police unions, misinformed citizenry, the will of the people who originally voted for Price to bring justice to the Alameda County DA’s office, was usurped, robbed by a recall effort that began less than six months into DA Pamela Price’s Administration.
One of the major lies of the recall was that DA price was “soft on crime and DA Price took Life Without the Possibility of Parole.” That lie was strongly propped up on the tragic Kevin Nishita case in which three young Black men were involved in the tragic murder of the Asian former policeman who was guarding a camera crew in Oakland. This document shows that the charging file began under the Nancy O’Malley administration and it was O’Malley’s Administration that left out “Life Without the Possibility of Parole” as seen in the following document and explained in the news release:

Sadly, Mr. Nishita’s widow was used by the recall organizers at rallies and in news reports to carry the false narrative that it was the Price Administration that took “life without the possibility of parole” off the table. Nancy O’Malley did nothing to correct that lie while O’Malley joined the recall of civil rights and women’s rights pioneer Pamela Price with former Congressman and former leading California gubernatorial candidate Eric Swalwell.
We know the leadership tropes we are handed to erode democracy and justice. Thurgood Marshall’s shoes were never filled by the appointed U.S. Supreme Court replacement Clarence Thomas. In Alameda County, the current appointed DA Ursula Jones Dickson actions of tearing down the judicial balance and change that Price was implementing after of 170 years of mostly white male dominated leadership, indicate a turn back to the ‘good ole days’ ‘good ole boys’ White Supremacy culture. The deadly actions of law enforcement have been overlooked by DA Ursula Jones Dickson as she dismissed cases that would have held officers accountable. The families of Steven Taylor, Vinetta Martin and the Maurice Monk did not get their day in court to stand for their murdered loved ones due to DA Ursula Jones Dickson’s actions.
