Texas Wildlife Association is a 501(c)4 and is the leading voice for conservation policy in Texas. We are committed to protecting property rights, pursuing landowner protections and wildlife management tools, promoting and preserving our hunting heritage, and actively influencing outcomes in state and federal legislative and regulatory processes.
In the 86th Session of the Texas Legislature, TWA proudly
- played an integral role in securing permanent funding for the State Park system,
- advanced meaningful eminent domain reform that is ripe for passage in the next session,
- and worked to successfully pass multiple bills to further protect our deer population from disease threats.
TWA will continue to work hard for its members, fighting for legislation that protects Texas' natural resources.
