Safe and Sound: Creating Healthy Environments for Every Child

Ensuring a safe and healthy environment is essential for every child’s growth, especially for those with chronic health needs. This training equips child care providers with essential knowledge of indoor and outdoor safety standards, hygiene protocols, food safety practices, and the impact of chronic illnesses on child development—especially in infants and toddlers. Participants will also learn how to recognize and report abuse and neglect, and develop policies that promote wellness and protection in early childhood settings. By the end of this course, providers will be better prepared to support the well-being of all children in their care through proactive strategies, inclusive practices, and regulatory compliance.
