OTTAWA, July 5, 2024 — In its latest move to bolster Canada’s healthcare workforce, the Canadian government has issued 3750 invitations to healthcare professionals through the Express Entry draw held on July 5, 2024. This draw, targeting skilled workers in healthcare occupations, reflects Canada’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its healthcare system and welcoming skilled professionals from around the world.
To qualify for the healthcare occupations category, applicants must demonstrate a minimum of 6 months of full-time, continuous work experience (or part-time equivalent) within the past 3 years in one of the specified healthcare occupations. This experience can be acquired either within Canada or abroad, provided all specified requirements for the round are met.
