Shout out to these NEW customers of the ACORN Online Market!

  • Big Heart Social in Vergennes - Big Heart Social is a welcoming queer-forward community space offering board games, drinks, food, events, and co-working in Vergennes, VT. Connect, unwind, and make memories!
  • The Giving Table at Porter Hospital - This new initiative comes from Porter's Community Engagement + Employee Wellness team. This free table in the hospital’s cafeteria offers staff and patients access to local summer fruits and veggies. Community members can contribute excess produce from gardens, and extra produce is brought in from ACORN’s farm partners so the table is always stocked! If you’d like to contribute, stop by with produce, purchase food via our market, or donate here with the memo “for Porter's Giving Table," and we'll purchase food to donate for you.

Support businesses and organizations who are buying local!

SUMMER IS BUMPING on the market! Tomatoes, eggplant, potatoes, fennel, cucumbers, blueberries, herbs and greens of all kinds are here! The market is open every Friday at noon through Monday at 10am.

A sweet evening of food, wine and friends

Deep gratitude to Lincoln Peak Vineyard for hosting ACORN on July 15 for our first ever Peak Pairings event!

The night was gorgeous, delicious, and invigorating. We heard from ACORN's E.D., Lindsey, as well as local farmers and food businesses about how the ACORN Food Hub is filling a crucial gap in the middle of the supply chain.

If you joined us, thank you for being a part of our growing community.

If you missed it, fear not. We hope to host another event with Lincoln Peak in the winter! Stay tuned...

And always remember: there are many ways to help protect pollinators! Plant native flowers, avoid unnecessary pesticide use, and support local beekeepers.

Thanks to Champlain Valley Apiaries for this update!
