Love Local Night is Back – Wednesday, June 18!

Celebrate community at Discover Haverford's Love Local Night! Enjoy an evening filled with live music, extended shopping hours, and delicious local dining. Stroll down the blvd as local shops stay open late, Flora Pop Up Bar is back at Plant Roots, and WMMR will be broadcasting live from JD McGillicuddy's from 3-7pm. Don’t forget to pick up your Shopping Passport for a chance to win great prizes as you support your favorite hometown spots. It’s the perfect way to shop, dine, and discover all that Haverford Township has to offer!

Discover Haverford Welcomes New Gift Shop, Discoverie Goods Co.

Just imagine walking through a door and being welcomed into a bright, airy, colorful space, where you’re invited to immerse yourself in a truly unique shopping experience, full of fun and unexpected treasures. You don’t need to imagine, just visit Discoverie Goods Co.!

Originally from Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, Brittany Killen has successfully transformed 2339 West Darby Road into a beautiful shop with a variety of goods, ranging from fun sweet treats to candles inspired by beloved TV shows and Philadelphia sport teams.

Discover Haverford Welcomes Kaleigh Bodak as new Summer Intern!

Kaleigh, originally from Connecticut, is a rising junior at Haverford College studying economics with a concentration in mathematical economics. Her academic interests include business analytics, statistics, marketing, and finance. Outside of the classroom, Kaleigh is a varsity softball player at Haverford College and helps coach younger athletes in her free time. In addition to her academic and athletic pursuits, Kaleigh has a passion for helping others and contributing to the community. She is eager to bring her skills and passions to the Discover Haverford team and gain valuable real-world experience! Kaleigh’s internship with Discover Haverford is part of the Whitehead Internship Program at Haverford College. The program was created to encourage students to participate in summer work experience in relation to entrepreneurial endeavors, small business enterprise, venture capital, or investment finance activities. The Whitehead Internship fund provides students with a stipend to start pursuing work related to their academic interests with these summer opportunities.

Spring Clean Up

Help beautify our business districts by lending a hand with spring clean-up of garden beds that Discover Haverford maintains in the township! This is a great opportunity for residents, families, and businesses to come together. Locations include the Triangle Garden on Darby Rd, Manoa & West Chester Pike, Llanerch & West Chester Pike, and the walkway at Oakmont South. All dates are weather dependent - we'll contact you if we need to reschedule. All clean up days are on Thursdays unless otherwise noted.

Our June schedule is June 5, 12, and 19 from 2-3pm.

The Discover Haverford May Flower Project

The May Flower Project is organized by Discover Haverford using talented volunteers to paint flowers on the outside of storefront windows to brighten up our business districts and welcome spring!
