Dear ,
You only have one week left to sign up for the chance to work with church communications specialist Christen Green Kinard of Digital Congregations.
Don't miss the opportunity to refine your current approach to communications and plan for the future as your church considers a return to in-person worship.
Open to all church leaders—from pastors to communications managers—CBFFL is underwriting the fee for the course and is able to offer it at $50 per church.
This opportunity includes live and recorded conversations about (1) how to manage streamed services while also worshiping in person, (2) how to utilize social media as a community-building tool, (3) how to maximize your congregation's online giving potential, and (4) how to ensure your website authentically conveys your church community and culture.
The package comprises the four live lessons (along with their recordings and slides), a take-home communications roadmap, and the option for one-on-one weekly office hours with Christen Kinard for specific questions and concerns.
Go into this next season with greater confidence!
Christen is a wealth of knowledge in the world of digital marketing, but it is her connection to the Spirit and her deep understanding of the work of ministry that makes her courses special. Her care and conviction in my ability to lead my community into the digital age was not only reassuring, but empowering! I feel infinitely more confident after taking her course and have already signed up for the next one! This course is a must-have during the post-pandemic world of ministry. Rev. Maeba Jonas
Thank you so much for all the work you put into the webinar. It was one of the most helpful I have ever taken. The information was beneficial to both the beginner and the experienced. Your research of what each of our churches was doing made it very practical. I can’t sing your praise enough. Janet Hill, Second Baptist Church, Liberty, MO.
Hoping to meet you online with Christen,
Ray Johnson
Coordinator, CBF Florida

Angel Pittman
Miami, FL
Angel Pittman serves in Miami, Fla., as educational advocate. As a former educator, Angel has served in educational ministries for over 20 years, including 15 years at Touching Miami with Love. She and her family live and serve in the community of Overtown, a historic African-American neighborhood where only 45 percent of adults earn a high school diploma. Children from under-resourced communities like Overtown struggle with higher rates of untreated trauma, disproportional biases in school and lack of learning supports that impede their success and continue the cycle of poverty.
Angel’s multi-faceted role includes a variety of ways she is seeking to impact educational inequities:
- Supporting, resourcing and advocating alongside low-income parents of special needs children
- Promoting impactful church and public school partnerships
- Advocating on behalf of public school children on a local, state and national level
- Supporting CBF field personnel through enhancing educational ministries
- Encouraging the implementation of proven sustainability models for educational focused ministries
- Developing resources for the CBF network for relationship building with and in support of public schools
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves.
Philippians 2:3
