On the first page of the AOS, please make sure it is fully completed, including the Municipality of the property, License numbers for Broker and Agents, and Agency boxes checked.

To Be or Not To Be? FinCEN Reporting

Two federal courts have issued opposing rulings on FinCEN’s Residential Real Estate Rule. In February 2026, a Florida court upheld the rule, while in March, a Texas court struck it down and overturned it.

Because of these conflicting decisions, FinCEN reports will not be filed until a final decision is made. Until there is clarity, Foxtrot Abstract will continue to collect the required information and prepare the reports, but will not file them. The reporting requirements may return, so having the information collected now will help avoid a scramble later.

Continuing Education & License Renewals

Delaware Agents:

Dave has renewed our Delaware license, so agents may renew now.

Delaware licenses are renewed before April 30, 2026.

Agents licensed in any state (NJ, MD, DE, PA) must complete the NAR-required CE.

National Assoc of Realtors (NAR) CE Requirements:

All Realtors® are required to complete a minimum of 2.5 hours of approved Code of Ethics training every three years. Free online Code of Ethics training is available through the National Association of Realtors®. Current CoE deadline: Dec. 31, 2027

your Agent File will show up in your list of transactions.

1-Find your Agent File in your list of Transactions, and click on it.

2-Click the blue Upload Docs button.

3-Upload your CE certs and assign them to the Private Permission Category.
