Q: When did you join LIFT and why?

A: I joined LIFT in the Winter of 2023 when we moved from out of state. The LIFT is by far the nicest and most modern in the area. The gym is the only thing that my husband and I make an effort to do 5-6 times per week.

Q: What do you like best about LIFT?

A: It is super clean! Everyone is very friendly and motivational. I have met many friends through the LIFT, and I love that I rarely have to wait to use a piece of equipment. I also love the childcare department and how caring the staff are for my two younger children.

Q: How has being a member of LIFT improved your life outside of the gym?

A: Exercise is a huge stress release for me. I have younger kids that I chase around every day. Working out at LIFT helps me to be ready to take on the rest of the day.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do when at LIFT?

A: I love to read my book while on the step mill. I also love the sauna.

Q: What advice would you give someone who is thinking about joining?

A: Do not be concerned with what others are doing at the gym. Try out the different classes and see what you enjoy most - the LIFT has something for everyone at every fitness level.

We are sorry for any inconvenience but there will be no

BOXING

On April 11, 2025, we hosted the Rock Steady Boxing Punch-a-Thon, a fundraising event in support of Rock Steady Boxing – a program dedicated to improving the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease through non-contact boxing-based fitness.

Participants from our local Rock Steady Boxing affiliate came together with determination and heart, throwing a collective 1,510 punches during the event and raising over $2,500.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and cheered us on!

I began training with Megan several months after having my second child. My main goals were to feel stronger, build a more consistent gym routine, and have more energy. It was also very important to me to have guidance on proper form. Few things are more discouraging than getting hurt when trying to get in shape, especially when you go home to little ones that constantly need to be lifted and cared for. I have dealt with back pain in the past and did not want to aggravate my back again.

Megan is always very encouraging and positive. You can tell she really cares about her clients. She’s also extremely understanding that life throws you curve balls. She has always been flexible with our scheduling when needed which I really appreciate.

It is a great luxury to show up to the gym with zero plan and to know I will get an efficient & effective workout under her guidance. I think most people deal with decision fatigue, and having a trainer takes that aspect of the gym off your plate. It also provides accountability to show up.

Being able to train with Megan over a long period of time has helped me feel better physically and mentally. We are also able to track the concrete results via InBody scans which is a good motivation and feedback tool. I’m very grateful for all the hours I’ve spent training with Megan and would encourage anyone considering working with a trainer to do so!
