Milo Garden Club

Ninety-five years ago, in 1930, a group of women in Piscataquis County came together to share their love and knowledge of gardening with their small communities, forming the Milo Garden Club. Four years later, they joined the newly established Garden Club Federation of Maine, which has since grown from nine clubs in the 1930s to thirty-seven today. As a non-profit organization, they focus on conservation, appreciation of wildlife, and sharing gardening knowledge within the community and beyond.

The public is always welcome at Milo Garden Club meetings. Members come from communities across Maine, and from as far as Florida.
