There is none holy like the Lord: for there is none besides You; there is no rock like our God.

1 Samuel 2:2

Welcome Letter from Dr. Moyer

May the peace of Christ and the joy found in His presence abide in and through you as we join in celebrating a new academic year at Crean Lutheran High School. In addition to celebrating our 18th year, we celebrate a new chapter in your student’s journey as they engage with Christian teachers who love the Lord, build positive relationships with their peers, and experience a range of academic and co-curricular opportunities.

Celebrating Education

As we progress through this new academic year, may we be continually blessed through our knowledge of and relationship with Jesus Christ! This summer, Dr. Ellie Beavis earned her Doctorate in Cognition and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. Her dissertation focused on the well-being of teachers and is a testament to her commitment to the development and support of our staff and students.

Crean Lutheran Dress Code

Crean Lutheran High School values modest, professional dress. Students are expected to abide by the dress code policy at all times while on Crean Lutheran High School property or at sponsored events.

Here are a few reminders related to our dress code policies:

  1. Polos must be worn on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Seniors can wear their Class of 2025 T-shirt.
  2. Sweatshirts and jackets must have a Crean Lutheran High School logo.
  3. Uniform bottoms must be gray, navy, or khaki. Black is not allowed.
  4. All skirts and shorts must be no shorter than mid-thigh/fingertip length when hands are at your side. Rolling skirts or shorts up from the original purchase length is not permitted.
  5. Students who violate the dress code guidelines will receive a dress code violation and may be asked to change or to return home, as determined by school administration.

Additional guidelines about our school's dress code are provided in the Parent & Student Handbook.

Campus Safety and Parking

Crean Lutheran's parking lot is impacted during morning drop off and pick up; however, there are some options to help reduce this impact:

  1. Please drop your student off before 7:30 a.m. to ensure your student is on campus and ready for class.
  2. The optional drop-off/pick-up location is our Athletic Complex, (about a ten-minute walk to campus).
  3. Please do not park in parking stalls when dropping off your student, as backing out interferes with traffic flow.
  4. Please pick up your student closer to 3:00 p.m. if you want to do so faster.

REMINDER:

NO RIDESHARE SERVICES ARE ALLOWED TO PICK UP STUDENTS (Uber, Lyft, Taxi, etc.).
