November Chronicle 2025

Dear Neighbor,

There's no reason to pretend things are easy right now.

Over the past few months, we've felt the effects of the government shutdown, issues with SNAP benefits, and expected insurance increases. A lot of our neighbors are hurting right now. But even during these times when things feel overwhelming, I continue to see our community step up to help one another. Neighbors checking in, local groups hosting food drives, and friends doing whatever they can to support one another.

We survive by working together. We get through hard times by refusing to let anyone fall through the cracks. When one person struggles, ten others step in. That’s the strength of being a part of the Upper Valley. We work to make things a little lighter, a little more possible, and a lot more hopeful for all of our neighbors. Thank you for being a part of this community.

With gratitude,

Elizabeth R. Franson, MHA

CEO & Executive Director

Dr. Bradley, DMD, MPH, our Staff Dentist and Dental Clinic Director, recently had the opportunity to present for Moms in Recovery. Learn more about the presentation and her experience bringing care tips outside of our clinic walls below!

#GivingTuesday is only a few weeks away! This year, we've set a goal of raising $10,000 to go toward supporting our patients in 2026.

A donation of any amount provides the opportunity for more of our neighbors to access the care they need!

It was another great turnout for community members to be vaccinated during the Upper Valley Haven's Turkey Day on Saturday! This year, we provided 67 Flu and COVID vaccinations to protect more of our neighbors.
