Countdown to My 3rd Shopiversary!

Only a few days left until the Shopiversary Celebrations! I hope you're able to drop by for the fun!

I completed my 1st sweater tee using the fabulous Llama Umi yarn and already received my 1st re-stock of this yarn because I know just how fabulous it is!

Cloud yarns from Lang arrived in both stripes and funky patterns. I completed a quick Funky Pullover and decided to offer a class to Learn to Knit Your 1st Sweater later in October.

We had a fun group casting on vests for the Autumn Vest MAL last Friday in the shop. I started a Celebration Vest using Moonshine Bulky. This should be a quick knit so hopefully next week I can show you the finished vest.

And I'm so happy to announce a local sheep shearing field trip to Vineyard Valais on Wednesday October 14th!

A Sheep Shearing Field Trip

I am so pleased to invite you to participate in a unique sheep shearing field trip on Wednesday October 14th!

Brittany is a local Sheep Shearer and she has connected me with the farmers at Vineyard Valais for an opportunity to cuddle with the flock and observe their shearing experience!

If you are a fan of the film Sheep Detectives, the Valais Blacknosed Sheep were featured as part of Caleb's Flock. This breed originates from the Valais region of Switzerland and are known for their gentle temperament and striking appearance making them exceptional companions.

Space is limited and I will coordinate carpools to the farm in Paso Robles. The event fee pays the farmers and their staff!

New Cloud Yarns from Lang!

it's been a huge week for the arrival of new Lang Cloud yarns!

I am finally re-stocked on all of the self-striping colorways that have been popular for the past months.

I'm most excited about the launch of the new Cloud Funky Yarns! All I can say about these patterns is that they are truly funky! The yarn arrived last Monday and I cast off my Step by Step Pullover using this yarn on Saturday.

I love stripes but I also love funky patterns! I especially love yarn that does all the patterning for me! I knit size 2 of the pattern and used 3 balls of Cloud for either sweater!

These colors are so beautiful and so perfect for your 1st Sweater!
