Optimist Junior Golf Volunteer of the Year Award

Every year Optimist Junior Golf recognizes a volunteer for their outstanding efforts in our junior golf program. This year’s award goes to a man who has dedicated years of service to the Optimist Junior Golf Program. He oversees the Indiana South District qualifier from a state away. He just recently moved and now lives in Tennessee. He tries to never miss a year of volunteering and chaperoning at the Optimist Championship and the Tournament of Champions. He has made many trips to and from the airport picking up golfers and their families and making sure their needs are met. He works endless hours working for the junior golf program and supporting the kids.

The John Reel Volunteer of the Year Award goes to Michael Woodward.
