EDCO Ambassadors & Eye Trip Interests

We have received interest in bringing back the EYE Trip for 2028 and restarting the Ambassador Program. Before we can move forward with either of these, we would need 2 volunteer advisors for each program who are willing to help lead and organize them.

If anyone is interested in serving as an advisor for either of these, please reach out to Jewell for Ambassadors and Trisha for EYE Trip. Once we have these volunteers in place, we can get things going!

Please note, to be an advisor for either of these programs, you do not have to be a current leader or parent. We've had ambassador leaders be people from our community. If you know of someone who would be good, reach out to them!

EYE Trip Responsibilities

  • Agents: The agent’s role is to help with meeting agendas, minutes, and treasurer reports.
  • 2 Chaperones: Become an approved volunteer. Facilitate meetings, coordinate fundraisers, and manage communications related to the EYE trip. The primary responsibility for fundraising lies with the participants and their families.
  • Parents: Parents and guardians are expected to play an active role in supporting their children’s fundraising efforts. This includes helping to plan, organize, and ensure the success of each fundraising event. Your involvement is crucial to seeing the fundraisers through to completion.
  • Participants: Each participant is expected to actively raise between $1,200 and $1,500 by attending and contributing to all fundraising events.
  • Must be entering freshman year in the summer of 2028 to high school seniors.
