Greetings!
We use iPhones.
We drive a car.
We sit in a comfortable recliner.
- But how often do we think about the worker
who assembled our phone?
- About the people on the assembly line
who built our car?
- About the craftsmen who shaped and
stitched our recliner?
Do I truly respect the work those women and men do?
Or do I—much like in the photo of my granddaughter—
admire the final product while forgetting
the hands and effort behind it?
Why should I even think about respecting “blue‑collar” labor?
After all, didn’t I pay for these goods with my own money?
And yet, I still return to Abraham Lincoln’s words:
“Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.”
My respect and gratitude go especially to Alrol’s team:
Your hard work is the foundation
of our company’s success.
