Avoid Federal Fines: Check Your Business and File for FREE by Dec. 31
Corporate Transparency Act
By December 31, 2024, businesses will need to report information about the individuals who own or control them. Any newly formed businesses must do the same within 90 days of being registered with the state.
Businesses will be fined for not registering the appropriate information. Completing the form is free. You do not need to pay to process this one-time filing for your business.
Be advised that businesses may be subject to civil penalties of $500+ for each day that they have not completed the filing requirement.
Join us at an upcoming info session to learn:
- which companies need to file
- the contents and timing of the filings
- the process of completing such filings
We will be hosting at least one info session per month before the December 31, 2024, deadline.

CCRB 2024 Speak Up Speak Out Youth Summit
Calling all NYC youth! The NYC Civilian Complaint Review Board is inviting all NYC youth to join us for our 2024 Speak Up Speak Out Youth Summit on Thursday, November 14th at 5:30pm.
We want to hear from you! This summit is an opportunity for young New Yorkers to directly share their experiences with policing, identify problems within their communities, and recommend solutions. This summit will also feature a panel discussion comprised of various youth activists and representatives from youth justice organizations from across the city who will share their insight on youth and policing, as well as activities, games, and more!

José Luis Rodríguez González, nicknamed El Puma, is a Venezuelan singer and actor who is known for having recorded many international super hits and participated in a handful of telenovelas. He has also served as a coach and mentor on the Peruvian, Argentinian, and Chilean versions of The Voice, as well as a judge on The X Factor Chile.
This legend of the speakers and screen will be performing at the Concert Hall this fall and you will not want to miss it!
Patrons who purchase VIP tickets (first 9 rows of Orchestra Center) are invited to attend a special reception at 6:30pm on the day of the show. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres catered by Havana Cafe.

A conversation with Edgardo Miranda-Rodríguez, creator of La Borinqueña!
Edgardo Miranda-Rodríguez is the recipient of Eisner's Humanitarian Award for his philanthropic efforts via the benefit anthology Ricanstruction: Reminiscing & Rebuilding Puerto Rico featuring La Borinqueña teaming up with Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman and other DC Comics heroes. He is the Creative Director and owner of Somos Arte, a Brooklyn-based creative services studio. Among his many accomplishments. Edgardo is also an Arts Envoy for the U.S. Department of State giving talks and leading workshops in Latin America about how La Borinqueña speaks to social justice issues as a graphic novel.
La Borinqueña’s powers are drawn from history and mysticism found on the island of Puerto Rico. The fictional character, Marisol Rios De La Luz, is a Columbia University Earth and Environmental Sciences Undergraduate student living with her parents in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She takes a semester of study abroad in collaboration with the University of Puerto Rico. There she explores the caves of Puerto Rico and finds five similar sized crystals. Atabex, the Taino mother goddess, appears before Marisol once the crystals are united and summons her sons Yúcahu, spirt of the seas and mountains and Juracan, spirit of the hurricanes. They give Marisol superhuman strength, the power of flight, and control of the storms!
