Randy Clough Returned
to the Highway 12 Road Trip Photography Workshop.
"I've participated in several Hwy 12 Photography Road Trip adventures with Howard and enjoyed them all. I love traveling through and often stopping in the small towns along Hwy 12 on our way to Howard's artistic retreat in Lily, SD (pop. 4), photographing fun/interesting sites & people along the way.
From Lily the group explores various locals in eastern SD. The Road-Trippers include a mix of first-time and returning photographers, including amateur shooters like me plus some pros. It's open to anyone looking to spend a few days focused on making photographs and learning from and teaching other like-minded people in the process.
This year (2026) had a nice surprise for the more seasoned road-trippers, when 2 young, first-time folks joined us bringing a lot of creative energy into the mix. It’s really all about making new friends, learning and having fun!"
