As part of the project, Hydro One will relocate six utility poles that conflict with the new road alignment. Any remaining gaps in the south curb will be repaired in spring 2027, along with placement of the final lift of asphalt to complete the roadway. Construction activities will continue as weather permits.

The fall colours that create an annual vibrancy throughout Brighton traditionally draw visitors and allow residents to enjoy Presqu'ile Provincial Park, our scenic trails, and our farm stands, supporting local shops, restaurants, and accommodations well into the shoulder season.
During Quinte Small Business Week, Brighton welcomed more than 50 business leaders and partners to the Brighton Business Breakfast. The finale of the week was the Quinte Business Achievement Awards Gala - Congratulations to The Bunkie Co., recipient of the Trailblazer of the Year Award, and Owl Grove Roses, recipient of the Sustainability Award at the Quinte Business Achievement Awards.
As we enter November, I encourage everyone to wear a poppy and join us at the Remembrance Day Ceremony at Memorial Park on November 11 at 10:30 a.m. as we honour the service and sacrifice of our veterans and fallen soldiers.
Thank you for your continued support of Brighton.
Yours in Economic Development,
Ben Hagerman
