SBA Testing Starts Monday

Please remember we have an altered schedule next week to allow for state assessment administration. Please note the late start time for those grades NOT testing each day. Thank you for reminding your students to get a good night's sleep and eat a nutritious breakfast. Rosters will be posted in the Lyceum and on the wall in the main hallway when testers arrive on Monday morning. If you have questions, please email Ms. Kinney.

Staff Appreciation Week

The ICS Staff Appreciation Committee Needs your HELP! We are down to our last few activities to show our teachers how much we appreciate them! Please consider donating items to the week long celebration.  We will be celebrating Staff Appreciation Week at ICS, May 1^st-5^th and we need your help to make it another spectacular event showing our teachers and staff just how much we appreciate all the time, energy and talent that goes into educating our kids. To that end, use this link for all 5 days of signup genius signups. Please look for the various days at the top under the tabs and then signup to donate items.

Reimbursement Requests

Hello parents, please submit any outstanding expense reimbursement requests as soon as possible, to the VP or Chair of your appropriate budget category. Please include all supporting documentation. We process reimbursement requests once per month, with June 15^th being the final cut-off date. In certain special circumstances, if this date is not feasible, we will require prior notification of the upcoming expense. Volunteer Opportunity for 2023-2024!

Hello parents, we have a wonderful volunteer opportunity available for the 2023-2024 school year, as PTSA Membership Chair. The primary responsibility for this position is to update and maintain the PTSA membership platform, Memberplanet.com. We need to fill this position prior to the end of this June. MUN Game Night Parent Volunteers Needed

ICS Model United Nations is looking for volunteers to help with the MUN Game Night on April 28th from 2:30-5:30 PM. Parents will be supervising classrooms where board and video games will be played (volunteers will not be required to run the games, only to supervise the rooms) and to help watch the food table. If you are interested, please email icsmun@outlook.com.

Adolescent Parenting Workshop

Parenting an adolescent or teen? Interested in finding connections, resources, and support?

PEPS (in collaboration with your PTSA) would like to offer a tailored 1-hour free workshop for the parents of ICS featuring any of the adolescent parenting topics that are most relevant to you in this time of vulnerability.

Please fill out a 2-question interest form to let us know what you would like to learn, the parenting concerns that are rising for you, and the questions about teen development that are bothering you.

Come and learn from subject matter experts and also participate in small group discussions PEPS style.

Scholarship Opportunity

The ICS PTSA is awarding 7 scholarships worth $1,500 each to graduating seniors who show exceptional dedication to community work, volunteer efforts, extracurricular activities, and determination for self-improvement.



The applicant must be a graduating ICS senior and plan on continuing their education at an institution of higher learning (4-year College or University, Community College, or Vocational Technical Institute) in fall 2023. To apply students will need to answer essay questions and provide a letter of recommendation. Scholarship applications will be accepted from March 13^th until April 24^th. See link for the form.
