Pack Up for Family Campout - July 18 & 19
| |
Family Campout is a delightful annual event that brings families and friends together for a fun camping experience! We take over the fields at Red Morton Park and create a tech-free campsite experience. Campers pitch tents, enjoy a BBQ dinner, participate in fun games and crafts, gather around a campfire for a sing-a-long, complete with irresistible s’mores and much more! The next morning, campers are treated to a pancake breakfast before packing up and heading home. It's a great event for all ages, and is especially welcoming for first-time campers. (We cook the meals, and you're only a short drive from home!) Check in at 4:00pm on July 18, and check out at 9:00am on July 19.
This is a ticketed event. Tickets are $25 per person. Children age 2 and under camp for free. We are committed to making the experience accessible, so volunteers receive a complimentary registration, and scholarships are also available. Join us for a weekend filled with bonding opportunities and lasting memories!

What a spectacular start to our summer festivities! This year, we kicked off the season with a bang, hosting the Kick-Off event alongside the exhilarating debut of the Music on the Square summer concert series! 🎶 We raised over $4,000! These funds will support fun-filled concerts and community activities next summer. 🌞
A huge shoutout to our fabulous downtown restaurants for providing scrumptious tastings—each bite was a little party for our palates! And our "hats are off" to musician Shane McLaughlin, who serenaded us before Carnaval took the main stage. We're grateful to our dedicated volunteers who helped make this event a success, and the tremendous support of the Redwood City Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department!

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the wonderful volunteers who are the backbone of this event, serving up a fantastic selection from local microbreweries, as well as a range of ciders and seltzers on tap.
