Alumni Mentors needed for Career Fair Prep Night

Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 7:00-9:00PM

Join us for Career Fair Prep Night to jump in and make an impact. Your insight and real‑world experience help guide students as they prepare for the workforce. We'll cover Networking 101, Career Fair tips, on‑the‑job communication, and elevator pitches. We are building dynamic advisory panels and need alumni mentors ready to share their stories and expertise.

Email alumni@williamson.edu to sign up.

Become an Alumni Mentor

The Student Success Committee of the Williamson Association of Alumni (WAA) leads a year‑round mentorship program that supports students on their 1,000‑day journey and strengthens their professional readiness. We welcome mentors from all alumni classes, with a focused call for 2W5 and 2W6 graduates to become mentors this year. We host four key mentorship opportunities throughout the year. As a mentor, you will expand your Williamson network while sharing practical insights and real‑world guidance from your own career. Mentors connect with students who are eager to discuss career/life questions and build respectful, productive relationships. Help students grow in confidence, professionalism, and readiness for life after Williamson. For more information and/or to sign up, contact Rhoda O’Donnell, Director of Alumni Relations at alumni@williamson.edu.

Follow the Williamson Flag as it travels with the U.S. Military

Alumnus Daniel Armes 0W9 shared a photograph with the Williamson Flag in Afghanistan serving with the Army National Guard in 2019. Armes is eager to send the Williamson Flag to other alumni currently serving in the U.S. military to do the same. He is seeking Williamson alumni stationed overseas, on a ship, or in remote locations. If you are able to safely share your mailing address and your location, and snap a great photo of you with the Williamson flag, alumni would truly enjoy seeing where it travels next. Armes has offered to cover the costs to ship the flag to the alumni members of the uniformed services and simply requests that the recipient pay to send it back. Help send the flag on its next adventure. To learn more and/or get involved, please contact Rhoda O’Donnell, Director of Alumni Relations at alumni@williamson.edu.

An Important Alert for our Alumni Community

The college has recently seen a growing rise in false requests for donations to Williamson athletic programs, especially those employing the NIL Club website. Please be wary of these false and fraudulent requests. NIL Club is not affiliated with nor sanctioned by Williamson College of the Trades. Solicited donation requests highlighting Williamson from NIL Club or similar organizations should be viewed with extreme skepticism and caution. All online gifts to Williamson should be made through our website.
