This issue of the Cheshire AV-ator is a special one—we’ve just completed 30 years of successful business! To mark this milestone, in the video below, Jamie and I reflect on Cheshire’s early days and how our father’s vision shaped our commitment to technical excellence and exceptional customer service.

Next, we hit the road! Join us at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, where we collaborated with In Trade Show & Events on several booths at RSNA. Then, travel with us to New York City’s High Line, where we partnered with No Hot Ashes to create an experiential event for dating app Bumble.

If you're attending the Southwest Showcase, don't miss Justin's two-part panel on overcoming event cost challenges.

At MPI Upstate's Fall Focus, we caught up with members and created a video showcasing their insights on the value of MPI membership. For meeting professionals planning events in Rochester, we’ve shared resources to help you explore the best the region has to offer.

As always, we’re here to help with your next event. Contact Justin at 585-325-4250 or Justin@CheshireAV.com. We’d love to discuss your needs!

Reflections on 30 Years of Business

On the Road with Cheshire

Volpara at RSNA

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Cheshire had the privilege of collaborating with Roseann Denoncourt and her team from In Trade Show & Events to support the Volpara Health booth at the 2024 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting which took place at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.

RSNA promotes excellence in patient care and health care delivery through education, research and technologic innovation, focusing primarily on the radiology business community.

For Volpara's booth, Cheshire provided the large video wall shown in the video, numerous monitors and workstations, as well as onsite tech service.

In addition to the Volpara booth, Cheshire also worked with In Trade Show & Events to support three additional booths, including Riverain Tech, ScImage, and ScreenPoint Medical.

Bumble Activation in NYC

In December, some of the Cheshire team headed to the High Line in NYC to help Bumble, a popular dating app, raise awareness of its various personal and business matching services. The event, created by our client No Hot Ashes, whose expertise is in creating immersive experiential environments, was open to the public

Cheshire installed lighting to enhance the "igloo ambience" crafted by the designers and inspired by the wintry December weather.

Cheshire installed speakers to surround the space with music. The team also erected a video wall outfitted with RFID technology so that when attendees approached the wall carrying RFID-laced ice cubes in their drinks, they could interact with other guests in attendance.

This event got a flurry of activity and enthusiastic visitors.

SOUTHWEST SHOWCASE 2025

Justin Cheshire will be at the Austin, Texas Palmer Events Center on January 29 to participate in a two-part panel discussion focused on tackling price pressures and overcoming challenges in event cost management.

This premier Showcase event is a must-attend for meetings and trade show professionals, drawing CEOs, meeting planners, education directors, exhibition managers, and other key decision-makers from associations, government entities, and corporations. The one-day event combines professional development with terrific networking opportunities, to easily connect with suppliers and industry professionals in one venue.

There’s still time to register—don’t miss the chance to attend and if you do, be sure to reach out to Justin!

The Value of MPI Membership

At the MPI Upstate New York Fall Focus, Cheshire caught up with some of the organization's Board Members and event attendees to ask what they consider the chief benefits of MPI Membership. If you've wondered whether MPI Membership is right for you, you'll be interested to hear the response of these industry professionals!
